Before School Care - Earlybirds

(7.45am - 8.30am)

Earlybirds is managed by the Headteacher, overseen by the Governing Body, and is currently staffed by existing school employees, who have completed all relevant DBS checks and are first aid trained.

Earlybirds is held in The Hive, the Rainbow Garden and the school hall for children from Reception through to Year 6. It is held on Monday to Friday, term time only. The Edington gate at the front of school will be open at 7.45am and 8.15am for five minutes at each time. Each session costs £3.50 per child, per day. The Governing Body can consider requests for a reduction in costs from families in financial hardship.

During the Earlybirds sessions children can experience activities such as, board games, arts and crafts, construction toys, football, table tennis and other physical activities. Children are given a snack and drink, such as a piece of fruit with either fruit squash, milk or water.
